Terms of Use
mice-thuringia.com
The Convention Bureau Thuringia (hereinafter: CoB), part of Thuringian Tourism GmbH, offers planners, clients, and conference organizers a guiding service for their own event planning. The CoB is focused on profiling the Free State of Thuringia as an attractive MICE destination and on sustainably strengthening it through active acquisition and comprehensive event consulting.
1. Scope
The following terms of use apply to the use of the content and functions on the website www.tagen-in-thueringen.de, operated by Thüringer Tourismus GmbH. The website offers conference hotels, venues, service partners, and incentive providers (hereinafter: providers) operating commercially the opportunity to present their services. The portal offers potential customers (hereinafter: visitors) interested in events of all kinds in Thuringia the opportunity to plan their event more easily and conveniently and to contact conference hotels, venues, service partners, and incentive providers.
The providers' entries merely provide an initial overview of the respective range of services. Information and other offers from the providers can be viewed via the CoB or the direct link to the provider's website.
No contractual relationship is established between the visitor and Thüringer Tourismus GmbH, as the operator of the website.
Thüringer Tourismus GmbH reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time.
2. Content & entries on the website www.mice-thuringia.com
The above-mentioned website is the CoB's central marketing tool, which is used to promote Thuringia as a destination for all kinds of MICE events.
Conference hotels, venues, incentive providers, and all other service providers—such as agencies, catering and technology companies, equipment suppliers, and mobility service providers—can present their offerings on this portal. The website was created to provide potential customers interested in events of all kinds with quick, clear information about possible third-party services at any time, tailored to their individual needs. In line with the objective of this website, only commercial providers whose range of services explicitly includes professional event services are permitted to present themselves as providers.
The content presented is provided via ThüCAT (Thuringian Content Architecture Tourism). Data maintenance is carried out by trained editors in the ThüCAT network. The specific placement of an entry is random. There is no entitlement to a specific placement within the selected category.
By including a direct link, potential customers can also contact the provider directly for the duration of the entry on the website. The entry on the website does not allow for the posting of a specific offer with prices/conditions. If interested, visitors are required to request an offer via CoB or directly from the provider.
The presentation on the above-mentioned website is free of charge and there are no legal claims.
3. Visitors
Visitors to the portal, i.e. potential customers interested in events of all kinds in Thuringia, can use the website and the services listed there free of charge. The entries on the website contain direct links that visitors can use to contact the provider directly or submit enquiries via CoB. The entry in the information portal does not constitute a concrete offer. Concrete offers must always be requested from the providers.
No contract is concluded between visitors and Thüringer Tourismus GmbH regarding the use of the services offered on www.tagen-in-thueringen.de. The advice provided by the CoB and the associated recommendation/referral of providers is free of charge and non-binding; there is no claim to completeness. Furthermore, Thüringer Tourismus GmbH does not become a contractual partner when booking conference hotels, locations, or services.
4. Liability
Thüringer Tourismus GmbH is not liable for damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission due to technical equipment malfunctions or viruses in connection with the publication of the providers, unless Thüringer Tourismus GmbH or its employees or vicarious agents have caused this intentionally or through gross negligence.
Thüringer Tourismus GmbH is also not liable for damages caused by errors, delays, or interruptions in transmission due to technical equipment malfunctions or viruses in connection with the free provision of the website as a platform for events of all kinds in Thuringia, unless Thüringer Tourismus GmbH or its employees or vicarious agents have caused this intentionally or through gross negligence.
The above limitation of liability does not apply in the case of strict liability, insofar as Thüringer Tourismus GmbH has assumed a guarantee, and for damages resulting from injury to life, limb, or health.
Thüringer Tourismus GmbH accepts no liability for the accuracy, completeness, accessibility, and timeliness of the entries or the functioning of the provider's URL, the associated websites, or the accuracy of the descriptions in the text links.
5. Use of cookies
We use cookies to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. Cookies are small data packets that your browser stores on your device at our request. Reproduction or use of such graphics and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the written consent of Thüringer Tourismus GmbH. The rights to all designs and program scripts remain with Thüringer Tourismus GmbH, unless they are freely available or intended for free use and/or are the property of third parties.
7. Miscellaneous
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies exclusively. Should any provisions of these Terms of Use or any provision added in the future be wholly or partially invalid or unenforceable, or should they later lose their legal validity or enforceability, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the Terms of Use. The same shall apply if it transpires that these Terms of Use contain a loophole. In place of the invalid or unenforceable provisions or to fill the gap, an appropriate provision shall apply which, as far as legally possible, comes closest to what the contracting parties intended or would have intended according to the meaning and purpose of the contract, provided that they had considered the point when concluding this contract or when subsequently including a provision.
